Treasury & Investor Relations Specialist

Position overview
We have a full-time, permanent opportunity for a Treasury & Investor Relations Specialist in the Corporate Finance Department. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Finance, the successful candidate will provide financial analysis, modelling, forecasting, and treasury expertise to support debt management, liquidity management, capital planning, financing activities, and organizational funding requirements. The role also supports investor relations, credit rating activities, and financial communications through the preparation of analyses, presentations, and disclosure materials for a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct financial analysis, modelling, forecasting, and scenario analysis to support debt management, capital planning, financing activities, and organizational funding requirements.
- Support debt management and financing initiatives by evaluating funding requirements, financing alternatives, debt obligations, financing transactions, and credit facilities.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and perform liquidity analysis to support treasury operations, funding decisions, and short- and long-term financial planning.
- Prepare financial reports, presentations, disclosure materials, and analytical recommendations for executives, investors, rating agencies, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
- Support investor engagement activities by preparing materials for investor meetings and communications, maintaining investor information, and providing financial analysis to support relationship management.
- Coordinate and support annual credit rating review activities, including preparing financial information, presentation materials, and responses to rating agency requests.
Key qualifications include:
- 7 years of Corporate Treasury experience in progressively responsible positions, (cashflow forecasting, financial planning, managing debt issuance and repayment, refinancing or restructuring financing arrangements), supplemented by a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Business or Science; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Professional designation CFA, CPA, CTP would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of capital structure, cost of capital, cash flow management and forecasting, debt financing and capital markets, financial markets, financial risk management.
- Advanced financial analysis and modeling skills. Ability to present complex financial information clearly, strong communication and presentation skills to be able to effectively communicate with investors, analysts, executives, and deliver presentations at investor meetings.
- Experience working in fast paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written .

Salary Range : $92,515 to $120,910 per annum, based on a 37.5-hour work week. This is individually tailored to reflect your unique experience, qualifications and internal equity.
